Dr. Richard Feinberg is a Clinical Psychologist who has vast experience as a health practitioner, teacher, lecturer, and researcher-scientist. He has worked in diverse settings such as a hospital, psychiatric day care and ER, and director of a community mental health clinic. Dr. Feinberg had a private practice in Clinical Psychology and provided health care services full-time in this setting for many years.

 

Dr. Feinberg has been cited for distinguished achievement by the American Board of Forensic Examiners, American Board of Disability Analysts, and the American Psychological Association for his work in addiction.

 

During his career, Dr. Feinberg has consulted for many organizations and health care services, including community-based organizations, halfway houses, and mental health advocacy groups. He has served on the Board of Directors of a family institute. He has sponsored and organized conferences on such topics as domestic violence and mental health-legal issues. Dr. Feinberg has taught at Merritt College and Michigan State University.

 

Dr. Feinberg has been the principal investigator in research published by Michigan State University. His research has focused in the fields of neuropsychology, cognitive psychology, and human sexuality.

 

In recognition of his contributions and work, Dr. Feinberg has received numerous awards including a Human Relations Commission Award from the city of Fremont, a diplomate from the American board of Medical Psychology, and a diplomate from the International Academy of Medicine and Psychotherapy.

 

Dr. Feinberg has appeared in numerous jurisdictions as an expert witness in such areas as domestic violence, neuropsychology, addiction, and human sexuality. He hosted his own radio show, “Psychologically Dynamic,” for the North American Broadcasting Co. He has appeared a number of times on television being interviewed about high-profile situations and individuals.
